batman
I've never read a comic book, ever. But I like the the Batman Begins movie alot and I'm looking for a book or a series someone can suggest that delves into a lot of what the movie covers (and more)
some help?

You need to pick up Batman: Year one. It covers more or less the same timeframe as Batman begins.

Long Halloween, which is like an extended origin of Two Face (and ify ou like that, Dark Victory).
I also reccomend Killing Joke (a character study of the Joker), JLA: Tower of Babel, and if you're into Year One, Dark Knight Returns (BUT NOT DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN! NEVER THAT) is the same style writing, but an aged Batman.
Those are pretty much the best Batman books I've ever read.

thanks, I ordered up Year One and Long Halloween on Amazon. Should be well worth the 25$ just to keep me occupied.

I do that pretty often... I go into B&N and sit and read for stretches. I read a couple of poker books that way. But for 12$ each and no shipping... I'll pay for the first couple... the next few after that, I may download. Mars
