Also, it would be cool if, when you vote, you can give us some sort of explanation of why you voted that way. It can only help us to know what you guys are thinking.

Current longer style is fine. Forget the new short style. There's no drama or story. I'd rather wait a while for a good show than wait a short time for a rushed show.
Besides, if we could get more people to write, we wouldn't have this problem. I know plenty of you out there are capable writers, as am I. I can write matches.

I think what we would prefer is the expectation of matches that are about six pages long or something being removed. There is no reason that we can't, if sufficiently motivated, do longer matches, it's just pretty hard when there's two or three of us putting together a show and we have five matches to write as well as all the segments and storylines and stuff. 30+ pages of prose that we don't particularly want to write (because it's just people fighting, and that's really boring compared to stuff that happens in feuds) is daunting.
It turns what should be a fun hobby into something closer to a job, that's all.

I think match length should reflect what the guys involved in the feuding put forth. If it's something like 2-4 posts between the two guys, shorter match. If someone goes all out, and they have like 8-10 good posts or something, longer match. It gets across the thought that if you want to see your character in a big match, put forth the effort in feuding.

That does happen to some degree already... Sometimes in the match writing, sometimes me telling the writer that it can be short, sometimes both. But I get what you're saying.

I just have a thing with short matches on a good feud. At one point, myself, Christian, and PD had put on a great 3way feud, and we got a disjointed paragraph as our match. I'm not saying that would ever happen here. It's just a thing that stays in the back of my mind. Why write ten pages if I'm ultimately getting a one page response. If I don't post much or my writing is crap, then yeah, I understand that my match won't be much, and I'm cool with that. It's on me. But that's just my take. I don't even feud!

Was that paragraph by any chance written in the "glory" days of the 411fed?

And by "glory days" he means the days of Cerebreally Assasinated and Mjoke
