Announcers

Name: Tex Tantrum



Age: 48

Info: former wrestler from the old territorial days, big in the South, later a promoter in the Southwest before joining 411 as play-by-play announcer. Annoyed by constant comparisons to Jim Ross, but he's so passionate about the sport that he can't help but get into it with the same enthusiasm Jim Ross is known for.



Name: Banter Shark



Age: 38

Info: Banter was a friend of a rather successful wrestler and through him became a successful heel manager and color commentator. Never an in-the-ring competitor, except for traditional manager stuff (distract the ref, low blow the face, etc.). Loves pissing off a crowd, and loves pissing off Tex. "Shark" name comes from his toothy smile, which he often used to goad opponents and fans. Banter will favour the heels almost to a fault, defend them whenever he can and put down the good guys.




Name: Isaiah Cain



Age: 29

Info: lifelong wrestling fan, worked for wrestling magazines and dirtsheets as well as doing some limited commentary work for indy promos before becoming ECF's play-by-play announcer. Has a "smart" fan attitude, wants to sell matches on the strength of the wrestling itself. Is usually picked on for being the more dry "Let's stick to the facts" guy instead of the two emotional hypemachines Tex & Banter

Name: "Big" Jimmy Jones Jr. (Head ref)



Age: 42

Height: 6' 4"

Weight: 240 pounds

Jimmy Jones Jr is an imposing African-American, with a short beard and short hair. Got his start in boxing as a young man. After an injury sidelined his career, Carter became a ref, first for boxing matches, then for ultimate-fighting-type matches, where he got the most exposure and came to the attention of the 411 Fed. Because of his past experiences, not to mention his impressive size, Carter has no fear when it comes to admonishing wrestlers. When 411Fed and ECF merged, Jones was one of the first staff members to be brought on board. He has recently become TCW's head referee.

Big is a very upbeat guy, friendly with most of the TCW staff. He's a fixture at the regular TCW staff card game, which is attended by refs and backstage personnel but not the wrestlers or the commissioner (with a few rare exceptions). He is divorced, and sends money back to his ex-wife and three kids (she's remarried).




Name: Luther Lee Barnes



Age: 85

Height: 6' 1"

Weight: 235 lbs

Barnes was born in Texas in 1919, but moved to California with his family as a young man in 1934 because of the infamous Dust Bowl. He joined the Navy as a young man and served during WWII as well as the Korean Conflict. Barnes got into the wrestling business right out of the military and has been involved in one way or another for decades.

Barnes frequently falls back into stories about "The good ol' days," when he worked with such legendary wrestlers as Lou Thesz, Killer Kowalski and "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers, and never fails to let people know how lazy they have become.

He is a strict follower of the rules, never straying from the given guidelines of the match. He will have no qualms with disqualifying someone for using a close-handed punch.

Barnes is not afraid to tell anyone, whether it be the Commissioner or a lowly stagehand just what he thinks.

Name: William Freeman a.k.a. Free Willy



Age: 41

Height: 5' 8"

Weight: 156 lbs

Willy is your basic rat-looking individual. He looks shifty and usually tends to be. He happened into the business by dumb luck, but discovered that it was a convenient way to make a buck. His love for the business starts and stops with the dollar.

He is subject to bribery and is often used as such by the dominant heel factions, helping them to ensure victory, or to at least increase their chances.

Name: Thomas Baxter (Head Federation Doctor)



Age: 67

Height: 5' 11"

Weight: 136 lbs

Physical Description: Gaunt face, with pale skin covered in coarse, white hair. Wears thick glasses that seem to magnify his eyes, giving him an almost insect-like appearance. Baxter has dirty, coffee/cigarette-stained teeth and is a close talker. His face is covered with white scruff from not shaving. He usually wears a dirty doctor's coat and a flannel shirt underneath.

Character Description: Thomas Baxter was a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, specializing in sports medicine. He immediately went to work with several teams, most notably, a stint with the baseball team, the Kansas City Athletics from 1963 to their change of cities in 1967.

Along the way, he met his future wife, Norma Jean. He believed that they were happy, but his work took a great deal of his time and he often neglected to pay enough attention to his wife. One day, Baxter discovered his wife mid-coitus with another man and he went beserk, trashing his house, and soon divorced her. He discovered the sweet bliss of alcohol and became addicted to cigarettes. His work went into steady decline for the next several years until he found employment with a small local wrestling league as their doctor.

He excelled in this position and soon gained enough attention to be contacted by the 411/ECF commissioner as head doctor.

Thomas Baxter is not above doing the "quick fix" to achieve desired results. He is apt to suggest potentially hazardous procedures as long as they work in the short-term. This includes administering shots that, in the long run, can damage nerves and muscles.

He also has a reputation for being able to get things, certain drugs which have been known to enhance the body, such as steroids. He can get these things without a prescription for an added bit of financial incentive.




Name: Trevor Kian (Assistant Federation Doctor)



Age: 28

Height: 6' 2"

Weight: 170 lbs

Physical Description: Trevor is a young African American with a head of short, perfectly trimmed hair. He sports a perfectly trimmed goatee and wears no glasses. He has an athletic build from engaging in althetics at college as well as running and swimming currently. Kian always wears expensive, smart-looking suits with sharp colors.

Character Description: Trevor graduated from the Harvard School of Medicine at the top of his class. He is a funny, intelligent man who talks with patients as equals and has a dry, sarcastic wit about him. He went directly into the business from graduate school, his reputation and degree getting him noticed quickly by several teams. He found the offer made by the 411/ECF commissioner to be the most promising and he took the job.

Trevor Kian takes his work very seriously and tries to make his decisions with his patients long-term interests involved. He will not take the easy way out, often leading him into direct conflict with the Fed's head Doctor: Thomas Baxter. He is very frank, often telling the commissioner what he thinks, despite the reaction.

Name: Stephen LePage



Age: 22

Info: Stephen LePage is well for lack of a better word a prat, he thinks he's the best interviewer in the world and has aspirations to one day work for a legitimate news station (or failing that CNN or Fox News) and goes the extra mile to get the "scoop".

Too bad he's usually clueless and gets things wrong, but as long as he gets to promote himself and look good he doesn't care - which makes him the favourite target of many wrestlers who take pleasure in making him look stupid (which isn't hard)

Think "The Miz" only he doesn't wrestle




Name: Justine Lynn



Age: 22

Physical Description: An attractive young lady with an amazing figure. Nice ass, nice rack, long red hair. What more could you want?

Character Description: Although she is extremely sexy, she is somewhat of an airheaded ditz. She often flirts with and/or gets hit on by 411 superstars. She tries her best to get a smile out of anyone she interviews and is almost always in a good mood. She's pretty much just eye candy. The closest to compare her with would be Maria on RAW.




Name: Joey Joe Joe Shabadoo Jr. (Interviewer/former assistant to Commissioner Pyro)



Age: 37

Info: Joey has done a lot in his time in ECF and now TCW. He was a clueless backstage interviewer in ECF and later moved up to Commissioner's lackey. A move that turned him very bitter and sarcastic (hey you try and work for Pyro while believing you're better at the job)

Joey most likely plotted to out usurp Pyro and take over but Commissioner Stern was put in Pyro's place and Joey is now back to being a backstage interviewer even if he doesn't really seem to be into it any more. He's bitter, sarcastic and with little patience for people who don't get to the point (heel definitely)

Name: Miguel Sanchez (former Spanish announcer)



Age: 25

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 200 pounds

Hailing from Amarillo Texas, Miguel was a member of the 411/ECFFed Spanish announce team. He founded "A Few Good Men," the Paul Merrian fan club shortly after Paul arrived in the company. They were good friends for a while, but started spending less time together after Paul's first hiatus.

He later became "outed" as a spy for former commissioner Lance Canada. Disgraced, Sanchez left the company. He worked from the sidelines for wahile, attempting to discredit Ultima. This backfired during his attempt to turn newcomer Obsidian against him. The two united against him. His whereabouts are currently unknown, but it would not be surprising if he showed up again.




Name: James Sweeney (Director Promo/Shows, etc.)



Age: 58

Height: 5' 9"

Weight: 139 lbs

Physical Description: James Sweeney is the stereotypical nerd. He wears thick glasses and has a thin, weak physique and a face that makes him always look somewhere between sick and scared. His clothing usually consists of slacks and a button down shirt. He seldom wears a tie.

History: James Sweeney graduated at the top of his class in high school and went to college where he majored in communications and marketing. He immediately fell into media work and spent the first several years of his life behind the camera, working for various news shows as well as small time public shows. Eventually, he got his break when he landed the role of director for a small-time wrestling league. He directed promos as well as running the technological aspect of the shows: pyro, lighting, sound, etc. He stayed in this position for several years before hitting it even bigger after a call from the 411/ECF front office to work for them. James Sweeney jumped at the chance and has been happy there ever since, keeping his job following the merger into TCW.

Personal Information: Sweeney is small, but is a stickler when it comes to making things work. He is not afraid to ask a wrestler twice as big as he is to do another take if necessary. He tries not to be bullied, but sometimes it does not work. One thing that Sweeney never slouches on is preparing for the shows. He checks and double checks everything to make sure all things run smoothly. He stays in the control room the entire show and runs things himself.




Name: Russell "Midnight" Simmons (Security Head)



Age: 28

Height: 6' 7"

Weight: 327 lbs

Physical Description: Russell Simmons is an imposing black man. His hair is trimmed into a close-cut mohawk and he sports a closely-trimmed goatee. He always, no matter if it's night or day, wears a pair of shades that conceal his eyes. For clothing, Simmons always wears a sleeveless black shirt that shows off his massive muscles and black pants. Black shoes finish off the look.

History: Russell Simmons was originally a defensive lineman in the National Football League. An injury left him unable to perform at the level that he had set for himself. Rather than play at a lesser level, Simmons retired and went into the security business. He was soon noticed for his ability and size by the Fed and was hired to run the Fed security.

Personal Information: Nicknamed "Midnight" for his all-black attire, Russell Simmons is quite intelligent and does not get fooled easily. He is seldom backed down, even by the largest wrestlers. Highly trained in self defense techniques, Simmons is the last person to mess with. He oversees security at ringside personally and is always present when a match spills into the stands. Russell Simmons is often a fixture in the weight and training rooms when there is not a show. He is always willing to help the wrestlers train.




Name: Sammy Eubanks (Ring Announcer)



Age: 43

Height: 6' 2"

Weight: 175 lbs

Physical Description: Sammy Eubanks always looks ready to walk the red carpet. He almost always sports a perfectly trimmed tuxedo and has slicked blond hair and bright blue eyes. His smile is infectious.

History: From adolescence on, Samuel Eubanks was famous for one thing: his voice. He had a voice deep enough to make James Earl Jones jealous. He got into radio and television almost immediately, going by the name "Sammy" from then on, and was soon brought to the Fed to announce for the shows.

Personal Imformation: Sammy Eubanks is always one of the first to know when something has changed in the projected cards, even before Tex or Banter. Sammy prides himself on learning as many of the stats of the wrestlers as possible and seldom forgets one. Sammy is also the person to make any special announcements and is often the go-to guy if a wrestler wishes to makes something known to the audience or other wrestlers. Sammy is always happy and is seldom seen mingling with the other members of TCW When needed, however, he is never difficult to find.




Name: Herbert Glen Wallace III (TCW general counsel and head of legal affairs)



Born: 1954

Height: 6'

Weight: 285 lbs.

Physical description: Wallace is overweight, balding (he wears his hair in a combover) and has a bushy moustache. He always wears a double-breasted suit in his official capacity. He requires glasses to read.

History: Herbert Wallace III comes from a line of distinguished attorneys. He has represented the federation for a number of years, and was promoted to general counsel shortly after the merger between 411 and ECF. He now oversees all of 411 and ECF's legal affairs, reporting directly to the board of directors. For the most part, Wallace has remained far behind the scenes, only occasionally interacting with members of the active roster when dealing with important court cases involving the federation or conducting particularly thorny contract negotiations (in conjunction with the commissioner and other fed officials).

Personal information: Wallace is a poised and confident attorney with an impressive record of courtroom victories. However, the constant barrage of unusual legal challenges faced by 411 and ECF have taken their toll on his health. He has heartburn, peptic ulcers and a two-pack-a-day smoking habit. Despite his wife's insistence, Wallace doesn't exercise nearly as much as he should. He can often be seen drinking water with antacids. Wallace seldom gets vacations, but when he does he likes to spend them fly-fishing as far from civilization as possible.

Other character notes: Wallace rarely has personal contact with the wrestlers themselves, or the backstage staff. He primarily deals with the commissioner, and even then tends to remain at the federation's corporate headquarters. Most of his time outside the office is spent in court. Occasionally referred to as "Mr. Walrus" by Pyro.

Full-time TCW Psychiatrist

Name: Dr. Margaret Fontaine



Age: 53

Height: 5' 5"

Weight: 140 lbs

Physical Description: Dr. Fontaine is a middle-aged woman with predominantly gray, shoulder-length hair, which is usually styled in a bob. She wears glasses for reading and writing, resulting in her wearing them for most sessions with clients. Her dress is feminine yet professional, often involving brightly colored business suit/skirt combinations with a white, silk blouse. Her face is lined, but patient and kind, not indicative of any cruelty. She is slightly overweight, but not excessively so.

Character Description: Dr. Margaret Fontaine graduated at the top of her class from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She married soon after graduating and began the arduous task of building a successful practice while juggling a family.

Her dreams of motherhood were cut short when a bout with ovarian cancer caused her to lose any chance of ever bearing children. The rifts caused by this resulted in her separation from her husband. Her emotional problems at home had an adverse effect on her work and her practice soon went under, as she was not able to keep patients for long.

Several years later, Dr. Fontaine moved from Rhode Island to Georgia. She resumed her work, opening up a new clinic near Atlanta. Having come to terms with her own problems, she was once again able to help others with theirs, gaining much acclaim for helping even the most difficult cases.

Her practice excelled and lasted for almost 25 years before the strains of age began to take its toll. Seeking a lessened work load and not able to run her own business for much longer, she sold her practice and took a job offer from the newly appointed TCW Commissioner, Valerie Stern, to travel with the federation as its full-time psychiatrist.

General description of duties: The road agents are veteran wrestlers who act as liasons between the Twisted Championship Wrestling roster and the commissioner. They enforce lockerroom discipline, help to coordinate TCW shows and recruit new talent. The road agents report directly to TCW's commissioner and are responsible for carrying out the commissioner's policies regarding TCW wrestlers.


Adam Wilson



Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 236
Age: mid-40s

Appearance: Wilson is a fit, muscular man with sandy brown hair that is getting streaks of grey. His bright blue eyes give off a cold, calculating look. When wrestling, Wilson wears a pair of bright red trunks. When out on the road or working backstage, he usually wears a black sports jacket with a freshly pressed and starched white dress shirt and one of the many ties he has collected during his years of travel. Wilson wears a pair of dark designer sunglasses when on the road.


Wrestling Style: Classic technical/submission, no flash. Wilson doesn't take a lot of unnecessary risks in the ring, preferring to set the pace of the match and methodically pick opponents apart.

Gimick: As the senior TCW road agent, Adam Wilson has a deep passion for the business and insists on being the first person to wrestle the talent that he discovers. Still a worthy opponent in the ring, Wilson is not to be underestimated by anyone when it comes to wrestling ability. He has earned the respect of most wrestlers simply by being an honest, hard-working individual. He is always happy to give advice to those that ask for it. In addition to this, he is always willing to work with wrestlers in the ring, helping them train. Wilson tries to maintain an atmosphere or professionalism and mutual respect, but won't hesitate to dress down wrestlers whose conduct causes backstage problems. He has a reputation for being cool-headed and fair, even under pressure. Generally, he will try to address and solve any problems among the wrestlers before taking them to Commissioner Stern.

Backstory: Adam Wilson is an established veteran of the wrestling circuit, having been in multiple promotions throughout America and abroad over the years. Originally in the Army after high school, Wilson was discharged after serving only two years for striking a senior officer. He went into the wrestling business immediately after and cut a swathe through various leagues over the next 15 years before transitioning to a behind-the-scenes role. For a few years, Wilson operated his own small independent promotion. He was brought into the 411 Fed by Commissioner Lance Canada to help fill the fed's ranks, and became a key member of the federation's backstage team during the 411/ECF merger. With the transformation of 411 and ECF into Twisted Championship Wrestling and the appointment of a new commissioner, Wilson has become the commissioner's right hand in dealing with lockerroom issues.

Jason Fragg



Height: 6'1
Weight: 230 lbs
Age: Best guess is mid-50s

Appearance: Buzz-cut greying hair, thinning out, although he still has some military muscle. Has a few faded tattoos on his arms, reminders of his youthful military exploits. Wrestling attire is an old pair of camo pants, some shitkickers, a wifebeater and the usual arm/wrist/hand tapings. Outside the ring, he wears a somewhat beat-up leather bomber jacket, olive drab fatigue pants and a black POW/MIA T-shirt. Sometimes wears a camo pattern or U.S. flag bandana over his thinning hair.


Wrestling style: More or less U.S. traditional style, informed by Fragg's military training. He isn't a high-flier or an accomplished technical wrestler, just a tenacious competitor with a firm mastery of the basics and extremely well-developed instincts for hand-to-hand fighting.

Gimmick: Fragg wants to be the ideal American hero for the fans. He'll never cheat, never snap, never give any more than he gets (and he'll give less if he's being given too much). In short, he'll never act like a heel, not even a little bit. He is stoic and refuses to compromise his moral code. Years of military training have also made Fragg a believer in strict discipline, which he enforces in his role as a Twisted Championship Wrestling road agent. Fragg won't tolerate rude behavior, backstage fights or other unprofessional behavior, especially when the commissioner is around.

Backstory: Fragg came from a typical broken home. He had no real family -- until he met his sweetheart Penelope. Her father was a general, and took Jason under his wing, eventually leading to Jason enlisting and heading off to Vietnam. While overseas, he did things that most men can't even dream up. He was an ideal solider, as far as the army was concerned. He did everything that was asked of him, usually exceeding expectations. Along the way, he was an unwilling and unwitting subject to an offshoot of the MK-ULTRA program. The full effects of this on him are still unknown.
He returned home, marrying Penelope soon after. He was given a desk job, and they had a couple of kids. For all intents, they were living out an ideal life.
In the 1980s, because of his reputation, Fragg was brought in by the CIA to help train "anti-Communist" forces in Latin America. The experience began to show him what was really going on higher up. He was once again directly involved with the most atrocious actions imaginable.
His involvement was compromised when a short personnel file was leaked to a reporter at the Baltimore Sun. At the time, the paper was attempting to blow the lid off US actions in Latin America. Jason was removed from the program, much to his own relief. Despite disagreeing with the actions, he refused to make his knowledge public. Returning home, Jason also began to truly face the realities of what he'd seen, both in Latin American and in Vietnam. Depression led him to drink. The drinking eventually resulted in both his wife leaving him and his exclusion from further service to his nation.
After losing everything, Jason spent most of his time doing various low-paying work around the Carolinas. He joined ECF in late 2004, hoping that in one of the last great forms of Americana, he could mold himself into a true hero. But Fragg's demons got the better of him, and he temporarily abandoned this dream.
However, encouragement from fellow North Carolina native Adam Wilson led Fragg to clean up and try again on the independent circuit in 2005. He first returned as a manager, but quickly progressed to in-ring competition. Despite his age, Fragg became a popular local attraction in various small Southern promotions. His tenacity won him a following. This newfound focus and familiarity with the independent scene brought Fragg to the attention of 411 and ECF. On the eve of 411 and ECF's transformation into Twisted Championship Wrestling, Commissioner Valerie Stern re-hired Fragg as a road agent and talent scout.

Entrance: Some red, white and blue for lighting and pyro, nothing too fancy. Fragg will salute the crowd and wave to some kids on his way to the ring.

TCW Commissioner

Name: Valerie Stern



Description: Early 40s, curly red hair, above average height.

Background: Doesn't share a lot about her personal life, especially with the roster. Daughter of career military officer ("the colonel"), moved around a lot, came from a very disciplined household. Married once, when she was in her 20s, but never took her husband's name. The marriage was short, and she doesn't talk about it much. She began her professional career in advertising before moving to television, where she eventually became a successful and well-respected executive producer. Stern had a string of reality TV hits in the late '90s and early 2000s.

Stern is a longtime participant in horse-riding sports who owns several horses and regularly competes in English-style equestrian events. She's also a health food fanatic, keeps to a rigid exercise schedule that includes morning runs with her dog, and practices Krav Maga (an Israeli hand-to-hand fighting method).

Her home is in northern California.

Owns a small jet, purchased with the profits from her TV hits. She travels with her dog.

Always carries her PDA and cellphone, and can often be seen wearing a wireless earpiece/headset to take calls while keeping her hands free. Will carry on two or three conversations at once when in the midst of show prep.

Stern bases decisions on what she believes will put the most asses in seats. Not a wrestling fan before taking this job, and not particularly interested in the personal issues between people on the roster, except to the extent that it makes for a more entertaining show. Tends to delegate the more "touchy feely" aspects of management to others.

Doesn't get personal or flirty with the wrestlers. Wants them to know she's in charge at all times. Won't tolerate threats or ultimatums.

Always gets a hotel suite, which doubles as her office. As the show approaches, Stern will set up shop in one of the arena's skyboxes, where she can have a bird's eye view of the preparations and becomes the commissioner's office right before, during and after a show.

Commissioner Stern's dog is a five-year-old male Neapolitan mastiff (same breed as Hagrid's dog Fang in the Harry Potter movies) named Blackjack, named for her father's military hero Gen. John "Black Jack" Pershing. The dog is extremely obedient and will fiercely protect her if she is threatened.

Stern's theme is Down Boy by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Stern sets up in a skybox at the arena. If she needs to see any of the wrestlers, she'll bring them to her instead of going to them.
