- Freya performs a top-rope asai moonsault while her opponent is facing away and, while still in mid-air, catches her opponent in a tornado DDT (Jody Fleisch invented this move and called it the "Phoenix DDT").

Personality: Freya is somewhat short-tempered and stubborn, but very pragmatic with a sharp wit and a tendency to make wry observations. Due to the testosterone-heavy atmosphere in TCW, she often gets treated either as a little girl with no business in the ring or a heartless bitch with a (somewhat justified) reputation as a ball-buster. Freya appears to rejoice in this status, amused at the efforts of her male colleagues to understand her. Freya tends to refer to people using nicknames with differing degrees of mockery - a good way to determine her real opinion of someone is how scathing the assigned sobriquet is. The already-established nicknames are:

Backstory: Freya was born in a small village deep in an Oxfordshire forest. Inhabited solely by werewolves, she and her people were cut off from the rest of the world (mostly by choice). Freya was born into Clan Gar'Leth (literally "green eyed; hence her choice of English surname) and while most werewolves are large, with unusual facial features that resemble wolves, Freya was a small child who almost exactly resembled a human girl - she was a relic of an older period in werewolf history, when some of their number were born with a more human appearance. Known as ‘Infiltrators' by the Shadow Slayers who hunted them, these creatures would enter human society and interbreed to produce werewolf offspring (werewolves of either gender always produce werewolf children). Freya's brother, Bronson, was born the same way, but the rest of her (numerous) brothers were ordinary werewolves. Because her community no longer followed the old ways of their kind, Freya's presence was an unwelcome reminder of their estrangement from the rest of the world, and of the persecution they'd suffered at the hands of the Shadow Slayers, resulting in a difficult upbringing for the young Freya.

As a result of both her heritage (which made her more aggressive than the average werewolf), her small size (which earned her the nickname ‘Runt' from her siblings and made her naturally argumentative and short-tempered), and the patriarchal nature of werewolf society (which expected her to settle down and produce children upon reaching fertile age), Freya chafed at the limitations her community placed on her. A prodigious natural warrior, she left home as soon as she was able to in order to make her fortune in the world, despite the threat that she would not be able to return. Two of her brothers - Fenris and Bronson, had already left the village before her for various reasons.

Out in human society, Freya found it hard to find work and be taken seriously. With no legal abode or identity, she was virtually unemployable and took to travelling the world aimlessly, surviving by being a petty criminal. Somehow she found her way to America where, after being found brawling in an alley with some thugs by 411fed/ECF road agent Adam Wilson, she was given the chance to prove herself in the fed.

Freya's temper and attitude was fostered in the environment of 411fed/ECF, where her size and gender meant she was rarely taken seriously in the early part of her career. However, unlike back home, here she knew she was demonstratably faster, tougher and stronger than most of her peers. Freya rose quickly through the ranks of the fed, initially making friends with Ghetto Grass, especially Alexxx, before capturing the Bleeder Title at Endgame 2006.

During the tournament for her newly-won belt, Freya met DeadZone, who discovered her vulnerability to a silver bracelet that had come into his possession. Curious about the strange young girl, he attempted to investigate her, which lead to predictable clashes, but finally a friendship began to form between the two. They eventually ended up in a tag team together, finding a fair amount of success.

DeadZone was not the only one whose attention Freya attracted however; she had already met 411fed/ECF World Champion Jason Dante and his stable-mate Darkness expressed curiosity about her. As the war between the NHFC and Infinity grew more intense, it became gradually more obvious that Freya shared some connection to the strange group led by Darkness and Dante when Infinity-member Titanium Insomniac defeated her for the Bleeder Title, only for Darkness to save her from a beatdown (ostensibly due to his rivalry with TI). Before TCW Stranglehold in Athens, where Freya was scheduled to face NHFC-member Acolyte, the two of them encountered a group of renegade werewolves led by her brother Fenris and, in the process of fighting them, Freya was forced to reveal to Acolyte who and what she was. Darkness, arriving in time to help with the fight, also saw her transform into a wolf, though it was clear that he was already aware she was a werewolf.

Freya and DeadZone soon joined the NHFC, but after DeadZone - now known by his real name of Stephen Hawthorne - was injured by Darkness during the Road to Glory, they argued and the team went their separate ways. This began Freya's association with Darkness whose increasing instability confused and infuriated her. When Darkness had the audacity to go to her home village in an attempt to recruit her people to form some kind of army to fight the forces of the extra-dimensional Abysmal Gods who were threatening the very fabric of the universe, Freya followed him. While there, the two became closer thanks to the respect Darkness found for the werewolf community, particularly her brother Regin and his family. Fenris returned to the village in an attempt to discourage them from reconnecting with the outside world (out of fear they would discover that he had thrown his lot in with the Abyss) and eventually he fought Darkness (and his newfound companion Revenant), Freya and Regin, aided by the monstrous two-headed Cerberons. In the aftermath of the battle, Darkness despaired of finding any help from the werewolves, but Freya explained that, while he could demand nothing from them, he could ask. After making a heartfelt speech in the village square, Darkness managed to recruit a small group of young werewolves who left the village with him. With characteristic wit, Freya dubbed them "The Children". At TCW Havoc, Freya became one of the few individuals to have pinned Darkness, making it clear that it was high time people stopped underestimating her.

Freya next became involved with Kermit, whose girlfriend Janice had been kidnapped by the servants of the Abyss. Scheduled to fight over the Bleeder Title (now held by Kermit) at Endgame, the two fought across Las Vegas, encountering the vampires that were infesting the city at the time, and then meeting Bronson and his servant, the resurrected warg Goth. Kermit was horrified to encounter such supernatural foes, and his faith was shaken by the events. At their match, Freya defeated him with the Lung Blower to win back the Bleeder Title, but injured him in the process, taking him out of action for the foreseeable future.

Freya's friendship with Darkness now appeared to have become one of genuine respect rather than the somewhat argumentative relationship they had enjoyed in the NHFC and, when he decided to go to Hell to recover the Promethean Ring from Bleeder, she followed him along with Llenlleawg (one of The Children) and Revenant. In Hell, Bleeder separated them, having Freya guided through Hell by his lover Ta-Te. She encountered the Damned, learning the true nature of Hell and had the Promethean Ring freely given to her. When Darkness held off Lucifer long enough for them to escape, he allowed her to keep the Ring and charged her with locking shut the Gates of Hell if he didn't survive. Darkness emerged just in time and demanded the Ring, but Freya refused, explaining that he had no right to judge Hell and condemn the Damned to suffering and evil without hope of redemption. Darkness was furious with her, but after their match with Bleeder, in which she won after saving Darkness from the demon's lethal attacks, the two made up.

After the Majestic Cup, Darkness and Freya found themselves increasingly drawn together as Commissioner Stern identified as part of the same general problem in TCW - suspicious and, more importantly, uncontrollable rogue elements. While they both held titles, however, she was unable to fire them, so looked for hirelings to depose one or both of them. Amongst these were FWRFed's Malaki, the returning Big Bamlicious and the mysterious Inferno (who, through his strange manager Izumi, brought Freya back into contact with the Vindicators). None of these attempts were successful.

Freya later became involved in a shadowy government taskforce called Project Wolf, who had some connection to TCW star Atomic Welfare (and his regenerative abilities...) which led to her and The Children being kidnapped. Darkness, dealing with Kermit and a Vampire Hive in Chicago, had no idea she was gone. The werewolves were held prisoner for some time and Darkness was prevented from searching for them by Stern who sent him chasing after David Hardy instead. Thankfully, Freya was soon released - but the Promethean Ring was taken from her. Unable to find Darkness, she, Dante and The Children returned to the Amazon rainforest to try and find the complex where she had been held, in the process discovering that it was Dante's rival, Tomas Novamori, who had masterminded the kidnapping and taken the Ring. In addition, they encountered a group calling itself The Apocalypse who were immune to all their supernatural abilities and used high-tech powered armour designed by Dante when he was working with Shadow. Dante, Freya and The Children were able to escape from being captured again, but Novamori and the Ring were gone.

When Darkness returned, he was furious at Freya, and went to find the Ring himself. Tracking The Apocalypse to the Nazca Lines in Peru, he underestimated their immunity to his skills, and was subdued and taken prisoner. Over the following days and weeks he was brutally tortured until his friends came to his rescue. There were surprises waiting for Freya in the complex where he was held though - her brothers, Bronson and Fenris, as well as Goth, were there and presented serious difficulties. However, the most startling revelation was that the whole situation was masterminded by Lord Abortion, the Champion of the Void - revealed as Skaar. Dante, threatening Skaar with one of Darkness's guns, was able to ensure their safe escape, but the heroes were left with the distinct impression that the Abyss's most powerful servant was only toying with them, seeing just how far their bonds of fellowship would take them. The answer, it seems, is very far indeed, as Darkness and Freya cement their odd relationship with more tag team victories and an increasing reliance on one another.

Werewolves: Werewolves are supernatural creatures descended from wargs - giant wolf demons. It is not proper to refer to them as "humans that turn into wolves" but rather they are always "werewolves" who have two forms: humanoid and lupine; neither form looks exactly like one creature or the other. A werewolf can turn into their lupine form at will (their clothes don't change with them though - Freya is an exception due to a magical talisman she stole from Fenris) but they must transform when there is a full moon. Most werewolves are very large and strong, with odd facial features and long braided hair. Females tend to be big, round and very fertile. Werewolves can smell like a wolf or a dog, able to follow trails as well as sense emotions to a certain extent - werewolf society is fundamentally honest, because they can all smell when someone is lying, or when they are feeling strong emotions (such as anger or sexual arousal). Werewolves have regenerative abilities, and can heal swiftly from even serious wounds. They suffer an extreme allergic reaction (like a burn) upon contact with silver.
