 Avatars Off-site avatars have been disabled, because their size can't be controlled; some of them have been insanely large.
Instead, I've enabled avatar uploading. This means you can upload an avatar to this site from either your computer or from another website. To do this, just go to your profile as you would to normally change your avatar. Rather than a box to paste in a URL to an off-site image, you have two new options: "Upload Avatar from your machine" and "Upload Avatar from a URL."
Please note the size restrictions: "width can be no greater than 200 pixels, the height no greater than 300 pixels, and the file size no more than 700 KB."
If you need a simple program to resize, try It's a small download and a small, simple program.
If you have any problems, PM me and I'll sort it out.
