World of Warcraft? More like World of CAShcraft!
http://www.figureprints.com/I found this through the Penny Arcade strip...at first it boggled my mind and made me pity the WoW obsessed, but the it dawned on me...it's a brilliant idea...now we only need to find someone willing to make figures like that of our efed characters

Add yet another reason why I'm glad I stopped playing WoW last year...

I actually commented on this story on a very different forum from this one (coming from the opposite direction on the matter, as it were) and I'll repeat my sentiments from there: why would anyone pay that much for something you could put together at a fraction of the cost and with only the smallest modicum of artistic talent? Not to mention the fact that the product is pretty shoddy anyway, at least by the miniature standards I think in terms of. It just goes to show how WoW has sneaked its way into the mainstream: players of a game about orcs and trolls and knights don't even know the roots of their own genre* any more.
*Because D&D started out as rules to play with miniatures, if anyone is interested.
