Eregon series
Has anyone else read through the first two Eregon books? There is finally new news on the later book(s).

I think Emma read them. I hear they're completely terrible.

fist off, I would qualify them in the middle. Sometimes he writes something really well, next minute, utter diarrhea of the mouth.
second, I grabbed the audio books from the library and listened to them on my 45 minute commute. so that made things tolerable since I was stuck in traffic.
The news is that he was planning on writing a 3rd book, but it got too long so they are dividing it up into a fourth book and calling it a cycle. The third book also has a release date for late Sept of next year. I have to admit, for the sake of closure, I`m looking forward to the rest.
