Pirates of the Craibbean 3(Spoilers)(...and bad spelling)
So, I finally got to see part 3, and a quick review says: WOW!
A longer says FUCKING WOW!
Any review longer then that gets silly and just involves more "Fucking" added.
Now I was afraid that they would screw up the story and leave us with a trud ala Matrix. They didn't. From the opening with the hanings of Pirates and theose who helped them and the "song" to the bitter sweet ending with Turner becoming the captain of the Flying Dutchman everyuthing was firmly in WOW territory.
The crown jewel of this film series has always been Johnny Depp, the guy is nothing short of amazing...I'll tell you this, if he never gets a "life time achivement award" at some point, the world is an evil and wrong place. Depp obviously loves Sparrow and the audience does the same. The sleeper for me was Kiera Knightly, she was nice as a good loking lass in the first picture but I left the first two parts with the feeling that she was the new Anikin Skywalker, part 3 kills that notion, Elizabeth Swann is a great character and Knightly plays her to the hilt.
Sadly, Orlando Bloom's will turner is left in the wake of Knightly, Geoffery Rush and the rest of the stellar cast..:Rush by the way seems to love Barbosa as mucha s Depp loves Sparrow and the scenes with those two men are beyond words, the two men have a chemistry that borders on the uncanny.
Now the action, the storytelling and the scenes are all tops, the final battle and the fate of the main villians are perfect.
In short, Pirates 3 is a thrill, a rollercoaster built on the mountains of the talent of Rush, Depp and the rest of the cast, and it is one of the most thrilling pictures I ahve seen in a long time...in short(again) if you don't find anything to like about Pirates 3, there is something wrong with you.
Savvy?
