 Exit Tarja Turunen.... Enter Anette Olzon. It's the new Nightwish ! I do miss the operatics of the 50p Piece-Faced Lady already, but whatcha gonna do? No point hiring an impersonator. Eh, there's only so much you can tell from a bloody ballad anyway.
The closing to this one is particularly sweeping, but it's not really what I expected (I need some BIG ol' riffs and FAST)... but hey, looking forward to the new CD anyways.
Oh, and the new girl's Swedish. Last I heard the Finns and the Swedes hated the shit out of eachother.

I was amiffed when the news about Nightwish and Tarja parting ways as she was a great part of their sound, I had more or less decided to ditch Nightwish after that.
But this sample sounds really good. Colour me looking foprward to the new Nightwish album too.

Actually no, not really. As they are our true brother-people, a relationship Russia tore apart. There is a sibling rivalry between Swedes and Finns but it's mostly for laughs.
Except when it's about hockey, then the cunts should crawl away and die!

Update: Anette Olzon is from Helsingborg, Sweden...a twenty minute drive from my home town.
Not sure what that means but it is kind of fun.
