 The "The Detroit Tigers Own Your Face" Thread I was bummed...no...pissed off that they couldn't beat freaking Kansas City for the Division.
Then I was bummed that they had to play the Yankees and the Lineup of Doom.
Then Verlander, Rogers, Bonderman, and their bullpen destroyed said lineup and sent the Yankees home. The morons at ESPN were still more obsessed about whose fault it was the Yankees lost than the fact that the Tigers kicked their asses.
Then the Tigers went to Oakland to face Zito and the Big Hurt. Again, I was worried. They beat Zito and Thomas hasn't done much of anything.
And now they're up 2-0 and playing in Detroit with Rogers and Bonderman pitching today and tomorrow.
Maybe I should be more worried than I am, but I'm feeling pretty good about seeing Detroit in the World Series.
(For non-American types, this is about baseball in case you're wondering)

I'm all for the Tigers winning the series. I love the underdog, which is why I love it when anyone beats the Yankees. I don't really care about the winner of the NLCS
