Re: The Best Song of the Last Decade... Definitely if I had to pick a genre I'd go with country. They don't write songs like that anymore. Something ballad, that touches you in a place no matter what your taste in music. Johnny and June by Heidi Neufield. New, but is an insta-classic. Maybe if I had to go rock I'd go "ocean avenue" by the now on hiatus Yellowcard. Which truly is a fucking shame.
