Post Colts/Pats game was,
as Pat WoW would say, craazzzy!

going for it on 4-2 was a little nutty... I've seen ppl claim that it wasn't a bad move because either Bellichek trusted his defense to stop the Colts or the short field would allow the Colts to score quickly and get the ball back to the Pats. You can make a case for the first option... and I'm sure Bellichek will because it's his only option now... the second opinion is stupid and if it was true the defense wouldn't have tackled Addai when he ran the ball down to the 1.

The real reason the Pats went for it is that Bellichek is afraid of Manning... he didn't want the ball in his hands so he trusted his offense to a gamble (they'd only picked up 4-2 or less the last few years at a 63% pace) than allow his defense a chance to stop Manning and company.

Ah well, it made me happy... Go Colts!

I'd say the worse call was NE using both timeouts like they did. Still, I like the Colts better, so it was ok by me.

aye... the move is a lot more defensible if they have their timeouts AND they'd coached their defense well enough to not tackle addai when he broke off that long run down to the 1 yard line.
