Yeah, and Brown is even better than the knucklehead in Canada! I had a lot riding on this election, because a McCain victory meant that I really didn't know where to go.
I've just been through two very scary elections within less than a month. But now I can say at least the NDP gained ground back home, and thankfully Obama was elected down here. For the first time in a long time, my country needs to follow the US's lead.

Well Brown is left-wing, and probably significantly more liberal than Obama so it's not like I object to his policies and rhetoric, but it's just a matter of leadership and character, I guess. Britain seems to have been lead by accountants and middle-managers for the last couple of decades. I'm quite jealous of America having a President Elect that can generate this kind of upsurge of goodwill and support.
