Oh okay. Yeah, it's common enough that you'd see it on clocks and stuff if you were anywhere in Britain. I can't speak for the continent. Just looking at my phone now and that's in 24-hour, as is the clock in the corner of my computer. I barely even think about it.

That drove me nuts when I was over there, I couldn't wrap my poor little brain around it. Was always doing math in my head, you know, the hard way, so I could figure it out. And Zeph, if you didn't post and cut stuff up at the same time, you wouldn't cut yourself. Duh.

Yeah, subtracting 12 from a number can be pretty taxing.

Haha, yeah I know. But I just couldn't get used to it. Never used the 24 hour clock. But hey, I had it figured out the day before I left!

I don't even think about it. I mean, when I was first replying to what Verbal asked, I didn't think it was that common, but pretty much every clock in my house is 24-hour as it turns out.

We probably just went 12 hour to rebel. Its fun to make things hard! On a side note, It feels really weird to be working in a library when going through the donated books we have received to find that we have no books on Dunkirk. None. And stranger still when I mention it and everyone just looks at me funny, like, 'whats that?'

Anyone? ANYONE? Nah, didn't think so. I just saw Hitman. Damn solid movie and I'll be sticking that alongside The Punisher (2004) on my list of movies I liked that were apparently shit.

Rules of the Office: 1) Do not make friends with patrons. If you talk to much to someone, another patron will be jealous and 'complain' to the library board. 2) Always be sure to make patrons feel welcome. We are a small town library and it makes people feel good to be known on a first name basis. 3) Do not use your computer for personal use. Co-workers will not know if you are on break and will have to interrupt you to ask. 4) Use the back room computer (Rachael's) for personal use, even if she is working. This includes solitaire and bill paying. This does not apply to those who work in the back room, they must go home. Co-workers will still come to the back and ask if you're on break. 5) Be professional. No backstabbing, no talking ill of someone. If an issue does arise, feel free to come see the director and she will help work it out. 6) Rule 5 does not apply to the administrative team who will throughly berate the entire team before they come in, even when someone can hear. 7) Dress is casual, slovenly is encouraged. Breaking this dress code will result in the employee being sent home to change into her pajamas. 8 ) Employees are encouraged to develop long friendly relationships 9) Any employee get-togethers outside of work will be strictly scrutinized and in general are discouraged. 10) Bring your families! Grandkids and daughter-in-laws of the administration team are welcomed any time! All other relatives, including grandfathers, will require a meeting to make sure the employee is not sexually involved with them, as this would set a bad example for the community. 11) These rules must be followed at all times Stupid job....
