Oh God, I hate my university. So we have to register at the start of every year and, in the past, this has involved queuing up like a retard with everyone else in the year whose second initial is in the same region of the alphabet as yours to spend 10 seconds talking to someone who ticks a few boxes and off you go. Very annoying. So, this year, I'm overjoyed (well, pleased, at least) to see that we can register online. Fantastic. So I do what the email says, thinking that I can avoid having to go anywhere or do anything until I absolutely have to...but....! It turns out you can only do the online registry thing from a machine on campus! WHAT IS THE POINT IN HAVING AN ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM THAT DOESN'T ACTUALLY WORK USING THE INTERNET?! It's not even a security issue, since you have to log in using your university email and password and all that jazz, and it's not like someone can commit any kind of fraud by accessing this stuff - it's just this way to be less convenient to me. So now I've got to find the time to walk all the way to campus this week so I can sit down on one of their shitty computers and click about three things before walking all the way home. Fucking hell

Anything that helps me conquer the world makes me very happy. I can't believe theres a university out there that doesn't do online registration yet They had pictures in the registrars office of my school dating back not even 10 years ago that showed hundreds of people trying to sign up for each of their classes. No thank you

I'm sure there's a university somewhere that still has rotary phones, laser discs and 7.75" floppy drives (no, no 5.25" would be too forward-thinking).
