Much like myself last time, Rach is sleeping... so I'll rant to the silent masses in the mean time.

Just took a train to Margate (the arsehole of Kent) for an appointment with some chick at a recruitment place, and I get there... she isn't around, and I am pissed.
So anyway, I flash my passport to a another girl at the desk as they need proof of my right to work in the UK. Then I sit in a room filling out a a fucking form with details I've mostly covered in my resume already, all the time thinking this bitch was gonna show up eventually.

Turns out that wasn't the plan all along, even though we'd spoken on the phone yesterday where she specifically mentioned a post that I had applied on a previous occasion.

So I sit there scrawling bollocks, and there's some twat sitting opposite me with a form in hand, doing like I am. Then he gets a phone call (cue drum + bass ringtone) from his mate and they're discussing "last night".

It was at this point shit just started to feel demeaning.

I get out and I tell the desk jockey that I'm not planning to hop on the nearest train again any time soon, and it's agreed that if the other chick wants to talk then she can call me.

The only reason I had to travel 30 minutes and then walk another 20 through that dump was because they needed to see my bloody passport. Otherwise I could've just done this all over the phone or online. Fucking joke.

So before I fled the place I decided to calm my rage with some good ol' seaside fish 'n' chips and a Red Bull.

And then on the way back my mp3 player decides to freeze up. Now I gotta wait for the battery to die before I can assess the damage. Great.

Oh bollocks, I'm about to go to a recruitment agency. This doesn't bode well - at least mine's two minutes walk down the road

Well I know Magnus is foreign ( Swiss or Italian or something like that ), that Lance is in Canadia, and JE is in Spanish Land, so I can only assume Mexico. But I never thought there where other non Americans in here. I thought we just keep them around as token foreigners.

I almost think that there are more foreigners here than there are Americans. And I only say foreigners because we invented teh Internets you know

Yea, but they get to live around history everyday! Everywhere they walk is steeped in history going back thousands of years!

American history mainly consists of "At X place, on X date, a battle was fought between Y and Z. Z won." And all of that is mainly on the east coast anyway.
