Linux Newbie looking for help...
I got hold of an old Laptop for free, it's in perfect working order apart from being a good 4 years or so old. As it can barely run XP I sort of decided to experiment and run Linux on it and use it as a Internet and surf computer, so withput further ado which versions of Linux are the besta nd easiest to use/install and wher can I get hold of them?
Anyone?

It's not necessarily the best, but it is very user-friendly, and there's a pretty significant support community. Plus, I use it, and I think Verbs does (or at least an Ubuntu version of MythTV), so you can get some help here too.
