I won't be buying anything for a long time. But if I could, I'd be all over the Wii and Twilight Princess, and anything with the name Mario in the title. And Excite Truck.

I was about to trade in my PS2 et al for an Xbox360 system, then I realized that I'd ned to shell out $460+ tax for the Xbox system I want & 1 game only. After my trade in, I'd still owe about $350, so I stayed status quo. I'll wait until spring or summer of next year & see what's what.
But F.E.A.R. looks totally badass, as does Assasains Creed or some medieval game where you get to off people.

For our DC / WWE fans, Batista is going to be a villain on Smallville next week. If you just sort of want to tune in, Clark was banished to the Phantom Zone (season finale last season), but there was a back door that only a family member of El could open (this season), when Clark made his way out, others that were banished escaped to Earth as well.

and as I understand it, in three weeks, there's gonna be an episode called Justice, characters Clark has met will return including Oliver Queen (Very batmanish, Green Arrow, used heavily this season), Bart Allen (a young Flash), Victor Stone (Cyborg), and :: groan:: Arthur Curry (Aquaman - meh)

As far as I understand it:
The mods played a big joke on everyone to 'shake things up' by pretending to have a big lovers' spat, resulting in a number of mods being de-modded and banned. Then, some mysterious new users signed up and startd posting screenshots of mod land. Obviously there was a big load of a drama with the remaining mods pretending to crack down on trouble makers and, eventually, a whole bunch of people rising up in outright rebellion and posting porn everywhere.
Unfortunatley for the mods, the last bit was unplanned and a bunch of main site writers who managed to get involved threatened to quit.
Big Mike had to come out and admit that it had all been a work because they were worried that there was no longer any passion for 411, but because it was so obviously ill-concieved, it fucked up. He's since stepped down (last I heard anyway).
My take? C'mon...what was the best that could happen in this situation? Either people didn't care and the mods proved their point about no one giving a shit about 411 these days or people do care...and we get all the nonsense that actually did happen.
It was a loose-loose scenario and the thought process that went into deciding to do it baffles me.

Yeah, they're all pretty much stupid. Though it should be said that Ashish's negative reaction to it probably had to do more with the host of the website not being happy with the porn than any main site writers walking out.
