 Justice (with spoilers) Is anyone else reading this book? If you're a fan of the Justice League, or Alex Ross art, you really should be. A poster on another forum made the excellent point that this really ought to be an "All-Star" book -- it's outside of continuity, featuring a kind of ultimate Silver-Age Justice League (Flash is Barry Allen, GL is Hal Jordan, Aquaman has both hands) facing off against an assembly of their most iconic enemies (Luthor, Braniac, Black Manta, Gorilla Grodd, Sinestro, Captain Cold, Riddler, Cheetah and many more).
Unfortunately, it's only coming out every other month, but things are starting to get interesting. The bad guys are apparently out to better mankind, but first they're eliminating the Justice League to make sure the heroes don't interfere. In #4, it's Superman's turn, as he's left helpless by an overwhelming four-on-one attack by Bizarro, Parasite, Solomon Grundy and finally Metallo. It's one hell of a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see how Superman manages to overcome them all.
Story by Jim Krueger and Alex Ross, with art by Doug Braithwaite and Ross ... if you want a big-scale Justice League romp featuring almost all the major DC heroes and villains, check this one out!

I picked it up because of the cover art, but love the story line. I haven't read #4 yet, but I have it at home. I've got 1-3 in hard sleeves already up on my office wall. Alex Ross is amazing. The way Brainiac was about to treat Aquaman was just flat out nasty. I agree with the All-Star sentiment about this book.

It's $3.50 per issue ... a little above average, but well worth it.
